Where Guadalupe Sits
Guadalupe is a small town of about 0.8 square miles, bordered by Phoenix to the west and Tempe on the other three sides, about 11 miles from downtown Phoenix.
Guadalupe was founded around 1900 by Yaqui families who fled Sonora. Its motto is "where three cultures flourish."
Guadalupe ZIP Codes
Guadalupe mailing addresses use ZIP code 85283. A mailing address does not always match city or town limits, so we confirm the jurisdiction from county records for each home.
School Districts
Most of the town is in Tempe Elementary and Tempe Union High School districts. A southern portion is in Kyrene Elementary School District. Boundaries do not follow ZIP codes, so we check assigned schools with the district for each address.
